So RAC has finally dropped their very first single. These indie-remix masters have made a great name for themselves due to this amazing list, but not yet have they written/produced a track released from scratch. Hollywood reached #1 position on Hypemachine in a jaw dropping 5 hours after release and still retains this spot.
…and this is not all: this sweet little number is just to tickle those audiophile taste-buds..there’s more coming up in the forthcoming album.

Hybrid-materiality & Holaria
Last week I met my friend Yoshi. I asked him what he was up to and he told me he was working on research for his concept called ‘hybrid-materiality’. An interesting approach to crafting materials with use of computer aided design and advanced tooling processes. I thought it was really interesting seeing that computer aided design is becoming increasingly accessible and available to an ever growing amount of creatives.
Having the talk fresh in my mind I came across this video of Holaria. Co-founder Luiz Pellanda explains how this Brazilian porcelain maker uses these modern techniques not only to design but also to improve the crafting process by devising new fabrication techniques…So this one’s for you Yoshi!

Part of the Audi Urban Future Initiative, the program is curated by Therrien Barley.
“It’s Nice That has one main mission in life – to champion great creativity. But how do you go about it, we hear you cry! Well, by publishing exciting practitioners both on the website and in our magazine and putting on events to curate conversations between ourselves, our audience and the wider cultural community. That’s how brown cow.”
Will Hudson founded It’s Nice That back in April 2007 as the perfect platform for him to record and document his love of the creative industry and desire to uncover new talent. This passion fuels his day to day work as director of It’s Nice That as a whole, looking to maintain the high standards of the studio and identify exciting new and exciting opportunities for the company to develop across both the publishing platform and creative consultancy.

Full Crate & FS Green Monthly Mix
“Yes, Full Crate & FS Green are mixing monthly again. Back in early 2008, it started with Crate giving FS some advice on how to dj. Soon, the idea of crafting a monthly mix was born and I was held responsible for hosting these mixes. Dennis de Groot and Brian Elstak interchanged every month on the artwork and this group effort delivered 12 great mixes. Now we’re back! Mixing January is online and you’ll be blessed with a new mix every month from now on. As always, we hope you like it. ” - Nalden.net
